Nan O'Sullivan

Nan has a strong background of serving in academic leadership roles, developing innovative growth initiatives, and managing impactful curriculum and organisational change. Nan emphasises the critical position design holds at the nexus of innovation, technology, and society and believes in building our students’ self-efficacy to be radical, entrepreneurial, mindful, responsible, and impactful.

Nan is the former Head of the School of Design Innovation at Victoria University of Wellington and has most recently joined the DNDA Board as an Advisor and Juror for the Don Norman Design Award – a global award that champions Humanity-Centered Design (HCD+), emphasising the rights and well-being of humanity, across diverse cultures, and the environment.
